Short answer
Ten sizes cover most display inventory: 300 × 250 (medium rectangle, the most common), 336 × 280, 728 × 90 leaderboard, 970 × 90 and 970 × 250 for wide top slots, 300 × 600 half page, 160 × 600 skyscraper, and on mobile 320 × 50 and 320 × 100. The table is Screen Specs's Display group.
Standard display ad units
Pixel dimensions and where each unit is typically placed. Aspect ratios are included because responsive placements often accept any creative in a ratio band.
