App Store screenshot sizes (2026): iPhone, iPad, icon, and Google Play
For iPhone, App Store Connect requires one primary set at the 6.9-inch size, 1320 × 2868 px, with 1290 × 2796 also accepted for that slot; older 6.5-inch (1242 × 2688) and 5.5-inch (1242 × 2208) sets are optional legacy. For iPad the required set is 13-inch, 2064 × 2752. The app icon is 1024 × 1024, opaque, no alpha. Google Play wants a 512 × 512 icon, a 1024 × 500 feature graphic and at least two phone screenshots between 320 and 3840 px per side. The tables come from Screen Specs's Ads catalog.

Play is looser on exact pixels and stricter on ratios: 16:9 or 9:16 for phone screenshots, PNG or JPEG, and the feature graphic is mandatory for the listing.

Getting the size right without a device
1320 × 2868 is the iPhone 17 Pro Max / 16 Pro Max panel and 2064 × 2752 is the 13-inch iPad Pro (M4), so a simulator screenshot of those devices is already the right size. The device resolutions themselves are on iPhone screen sizes and iPad screen sizes; the standard web and mobile ad units are on display ad sizes.
